Andaman and Nicobar Islands are Indian Union Territories, located at the south-east of the Bay of Bengal. You will find charts helping to locate them here. The capital of Andaman & Nicobar, Port-Blair, is connected to the continent by daily flights from Chennai/Madras and Calcutta (Jet Airways et Indian Airlines). To organize this family travel (2 adults and 3 children from 10 to 14 years), we had contacted, before our departure, an travel agent in Port- Blair, which we recommend warmly, because the quality of its services was very high. This island is quite difficult to access. It dissimulates many extraordinary sites, that our guide, Mosanto, show us with passion and friendship. You will find here, a scan from the leaflet produced by VVET, the forestry society which, not being allowed to continue to exploit the forest for environnmental reasons, tries to launch out tourist activities.
